Summer Reading Club 2005

Starting on Monday, June 27, 2005 you can register to join our Summer Reading Club

1st through 6th graders are required to read a minimum of 6 books and then do oral or written reports on them.

Written Reports- Forms to do a written report explaining why you liked or disliked the book can be picked up in the Children's Room starting June 27th.

Oral Reports - You can also come in and roll the die to answer a question about the book!

Limit- 3 reports per child, per day.   

Reporting Times - Monday-Thursday 10am-12 noon, 1pm-5pm & 6:15-8:45pm.
Saturday - 9-11:30am and 1-4:45pm.
There will be NO reporting on Fridays!

Read -To-Me Club

For ages 2 1/2 to Kindergarten!

Parents take this time to read a total of 20 books to your child at home and they can receive a plush prize!

Logs can be picked up in the Children's Room beginning June 27th.

Important Dates:

Monday, June 27th - Book reporting begins and Read-to-Me logs will be available.
*There is no reporting on Fridays*

Thursday, July 14th - You must begin reporting by this day!

Thursday, August 4th - Last day for book reporting.

Thursday, August 11th - Completed Tiny Tunes logs must be handed in. 

Saturday, August 13th - Reading Club Party- by invitation only!

A certificate and a party invitation will be awarded to those who complete the minimum requirements.
